Who we are

A real, local advocate — federally licensed to stand between you and the IRS.

Behind Penn York Tax Relief is a credentialed Enrolled Agent and a real office you can walk into — not a national call center. When the IRS or your state comes calling, you get a person who knows your case by name.

Our story

Rooted in the Twin Tiers, focused on tax resolution.

Penn York Tax Relief is the dedicated tax-resolution practice of Penn York Accounting Services, Inc., an established accounting firm based in Knoxville, Pennsylvania. Where the parent firm handles the everyday work of bookkeeping and tax preparation, Penn York Tax Relief exists for one job: helping people and businesses who have fallen behind with the IRS or their state get back on solid ground.

The name says where we stand. Penn-York is Pennsylvania and New York — the Twin Tiers communities on both sides of the state line that we serve every day. That local footprint matters when you are dealing with tax trouble: you are working with someone who lives and works where you do, not a voice reading from a script three time zones away.

We keep our promises hedged and our conversations honest. Every case turns on its own facts and on how the IRS or state ultimately decides — so we will tell you plainly what is realistic before you commit to anything. What we can promise is that a federally licensed professional will handle your matter directly, from the first free review through resolution.

Who you’ll be working with

Vicki L. Willis, Enrolled Agent

Vicki leads Penn York Tax Relief as its founder and lead practitioner. As an Enrolled Agent, she is a real, local advocate who is federally licensed to represent taxpayers before the IRS — the person who will actually open your notices, make the calls, and see your case through.

  • Enrolled Agent — member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA), federally licensed to represent taxpayers before the IRS in all 50 states
  • Member, National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP)

What is an Enrolled Agent — and why does it matter?

An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a tax professional licensed directly by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. It is the highest credential the IRS awards, and it carries unlimited representation rights: an EA can represent any taxpayer, on any tax matter, before any IRS office. For tax resolution that is the whole point — once you authorize Vicki, she can deal with the IRS on your behalf so you don’t have to.
